Virtual Assistant Services

What-the-heck is a Virtual Assistant? The technical definition would be : A V.A  is an independent entrepreneur providing administrative, creative, and /or technical services. Utilizing advanced technology modes of communications and data delivery, a professional VA assists clients in his/her area of expertise from his/her own office on a contractual basis.

OR, in simpler terms: I use the Internet to help businesspeople with their administrative tasks from my office instead of theirs. In my case, my "area of expertise" is writing, blogging, and social media.

So why are VA's so beneficial to business owners?
*Can hire for single task, or length campaign
*Eliminates expense (and headache) or hiring additional staff.
*Enable business to tap into a wide range of skillsets.

More Brain-Lint:

I pride myself in the ability to create witty raw-n-real, clever, and oh-so readable, web copy for hip, forward-thinking companies with a personality. Companies and business people who understand the value of ENGAGEMENT and CONNECTION.

Are you completely "over" dry, regurgitated, marketing info that makes readers *yawn* and scramble for their back button? Looking for fresh, fun, breezy writing that keeps readers/customers interested (and coming back for more)?

Why Blogging is Freakin Awesome:
Blogging is rewarding. It feels really great to write a post that you know is solid, and then have people read it and agree in the comments.

Blogging is educational. To keep on putting out good content, you’ve got to be reading good content, and thinking about interesting things. This makes blogging a powerful learning experience.

Blogging builds community. For your blog to do well, you need to connect with others like you. They will have experiences that you share, and that is the start of community. This isn’t just a web 2.0 buzz word—community provides support and momentum, which are both critical resources.

Blogging builds credibility. Creating solid, relevant content on a regular basis is a great way to communicate to your audience that you know your stuff. -From Problogger

Ivana Taylor says that “one of the most common objections to social media is that it’s a fad–here today, gone tomorrow.” But, if it’s here right now and relevant to your target audience, then use it to your advantage, and connect. Social media is not not the only tool in your marketing mix, but it’s one of them. Come up with a strategy and get started. The cool thing about being a small business owner is if it’s not working, you can tweak it quickly."
